The Motic K-Series is a continuation of the old Wild M5/M7 series.  Many of the parts are interchangeable.  Infinity corrected optics also means modularity, so you can purchase a basic version of the microscope initially and over time add different features such as photo tubes, drawing tubes, etc., over time.  A great value!
