Axiovert 40
An inverted microscope versatile enough to be used for both
research and routine microscopy. The Axiovert 40 can be configured with epi-fluorescence
illumination & is standard with a photoport. Upgradeable to PLasDIC,
Zeiss' new patented DIC imaging technique for use with plastic vessels. The Axiovert
40 incorporates Zeiss' unique planetary gear mechanism for the focus drive, to
ensure years of maintenance-free operation. Check out the new X-CITE epi-fluorescence
illuminator system with up to 1500 hours of lamp life and requires no lamp alignment!
Axiovert 200
A research level inverted microscope available in motorizes
and non-motorized versions. Capable of doing all optical contrasting techniques
and can be configured with the Apotome module for near-confocal imaging.
Motic AE20 and
AE21
A simple and very affordable (from $2000.00!) benchtop inverted
microscope with brightfield and phase contrast illumination that provides great
images. The AE21 version is standard with a photoport for image documentation.
Motic AE30 and
AE31
A slightly larger version of the AE20/21, the AE30/31 incorporates
a centerable lamphouse and focusing condenser mount for true Kohler illumination.
Can be configured for epi-fluorescence illumination investigations. The AE31 version
is standard with a photoport for image documentation.
Zeiss Apotome
Near-confocal imaging at a fraction of the cost! Near-confocal
imaging with a significantly smaller footprint! Unmatched contrast and image quality-with
the thickness of one Airy unit. Exceptional resolution in 3D imaging-fast, simple
and deblurred, even with thick specimens. The classical challenges in displaying
optical sections in 2D & 3D fluorescence imaging (stray light, long reconstruction
times & post processing) are history! The new Apotome delivers unbelievable
images quickly, economically and with a minimum of training.
